ASUS, today affirmed its position as a world-leading smartphone technology innovator with the launch of ZenFone AR in India. First showcased at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2017, ZenFone AR is the world’s first Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready smartphone, with a massive 8GB of RAM. The ZenFone AR will be available exclusively on Flipkart – India’s biggest online store.

The Zenfone AR bears a dual-SIM slot, and runs ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Zenfone AR sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED WQHD Display, and is powered by a Qualcomm 14nm Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 @ (2.34GHzx2 + 1.6GHz x2) processor, Optimised for Tango AR and Daydream VR; and comes with 8GB LPDDR4 RAM.




The Zenfone AR rear camera has a 23MP ASUS PixelMaster 3.0 camera (Sony® IMX318 sensor) with an F/2.0, 6p Largan Lense, Sapphire lens protection, Dual-tone LED flash. The front camera bears a 8-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture, 85-degree wide FOV, 10 PixelMaster modes, Includes – Beautfication mode, HDR Pro mode,  Low-light mode, Night mode, Selfie Panorama. Zenfone AR comes with 128GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via a microSD slot (up to 2TB).

Zenfone AR connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, and GPS/ A-GPS. The Zenfone AR houses a 3300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. The Smartphone measures 158.70 x 77.40 x 8.90 and weighs 170 grams.

Super AMOLED technology enables deep blacks and high contrast, further enhancing image quality and 3D effects.
